Map and List of CrossFit Gyms in the UK and Ireland post image

This map is no longer being maintained, due to CrossFit HQ no longer issuing a list of affiliates.

This is a map of every CrossFit affiliated gym in the UK and Ireland (including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland’s CrossFit boxes), with contact details right on the map and listed below. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while and finally got round to it. If you spot any mistakes, let me know, especially if I’ve missed one off or haven’t quite got the location in the right place (I’m only human and this took far longer than I thought it would!)

There are a couple I know I’ve missed off, that’s because their websites were down at the time of writing. If that’s you, let me know when your website’s up and I’ll add you on. And if you think it’s useful, feel free to link to this post.

 These are some of my favourite CrossFit inspired designs for t-shirts and mugs and the like. I love these phrases, but it’s trying to explain them to non CrossFitters that makes me laugh the most! Just click on the image you like to see it in more detail, and buy it if you like it. They make great gifts.

      What about adding a postcode search to this site so you could put in your own postcode and it would show you the nearest one with distance? In the meantime, how cld I find if there is one near me in Camberley Surrey – post code GU15. Caterham is too far and the next nearest seems to be Central London. Thanks for your help with this.

      Thanks for the questions and comments. These are all the official CrossFit gyms, so if there’s not a gym near you you’ll just have to be patient. We are lucky (I believe) to have more CrossFit boxes anywhere in the world outside of North America with more sprouting up each month.

      Many people follow the CrossFit programming themselves, or with a couple of mates, and when they can they visit their nearest affiliate for coaching and direction with their form. Doing this, even just once a month say, will really help you progress safely.

      Jillie, I agree a postcode nearest search would be a nice facility, however maintaining this map already takes up a fair chunk of my time each month and I just don’t have the spare time to program something like that. If you wanted to come up with the code to do it, I might see if I can incorporate it. If the MapPress tool I’m using ever supports this, I’ll definitely enable it.

      Hows it going? Since becoming involved in Crossfit about 6 months ago, and advice form Zeb and Karl, we now have a CrossFit facility in Selkirk, in the Scottish Borders. RDAS (hard as!!) CrossFit Selkirk. We have only been up and running for around a month or so. Did my Level 1 course in London in July. Although I am trained in the SPEAR I am not a PDR instructor, however I now have a partner in Harry Ferguson who is a PDR coach and we now have a Crossfit /PDR/ martial arts facility. It is an exciting project and CrossFit is going to be huge!!

      That’s great news Neil. I assessed Harry Ferguson at the last PDR cert in Manchester, he’s going to be a great PDR Coach. (Hmmm, I’ve just realised I never got round to doing a post about it and uploading the group photo! It’s on Facebook on Tony Blauer’s profile here though for some reason my tag is erroneously on top of Neil Wilson, a compliment I’m sure.) It’ll be a boon having 2 coaches working together for sure.

      Congrats on the CrossFit affiliation. I’ll look out for you on the main site when I update the map next month.

      I did my CFL1 and Gymnastics courses last year just because I love CrossFit so much. I then used the experience to better myself. Imagine my surprise, joy and ecstacy when I read the post from Neil Davidson announcing CrossFit Selkirk. It is 10 minutes from my house!!!!!!!! I immediately got in touch with Neil and went down on Wednesday this week. What a fantastic set up he has in a very nice, neat, tidy, modest unit. My friend and I even did the WOD Neil had named after his wife. Brilliant! I will be using the box regularly and I sincerely hope that we can spread the CrossFit word throughout the Borders. I will definitely be shouting Neil’s name from the rooftops. A top bloke with a top box! Cheers Neil.

      Just done the May update and there are another 5 gyms that have opened up! I’ve included updates to contact details that a few boxes have requested too.

      To those that are asking about gyms in their area, as far as I know, this is the most accurate and up to date map / list of CrossFit affiliates on the web so if there isn’t one near you, then there isn’t one near you, sorry. (There are other maps, but because they’re auto generated, they’re woefully inaccurate, all my entries are done by hand to make sure they’re 100%.)

      That’s not to say that there aren’t CrossFitters who may be training in your area that you may be able to train with, or that there aren’t plans for one to open. We’re at around 75 gyms now and it’s looking like we’re going to hit 100 this year, so there are more appearing every month.

      Paul (and others) so that I can keep track of comings, and sadly some goings, I only add boxes that are listed on the main site affiliates page. I update this page roughly once a month so as soon as CrossFit Milton Keynes say appears on the main site, I’ll add it at the next update.

      The Dame, thanks for the catch. CrossFit Fenrir in Ipswitch was run by Olly who moved to Florida. I removed his listing but forgot to delete the marker on the map. I’ve done that now.

      Any other corrections that people spot, do please let me know.

      Yeah the Google map that the main site publishes (after I set up this page and emailed the main site about it, lol) is notoriously inaccurate, exactly because it uses an automated method to pick the address. Many CrossFit boxes’ addresses don’t translate well in google maps (railway bridge arches and industrial units etc), which is why I manually place every marker on the map to ensure maximum accuracy, even down to picking the right building using Satellite view if I have that info.

      I feel really sad that there are no options in such a big area.

      Clapham is an alternative but transport doesn’t help…

      It is really hard to balance time, prof. workload and cost if you don’t have a gym in our area.

      No CrossFit in Cornwall still 🙁 Currently run a boot camp which involves heavy tyre flips, battle ropes, sledge sprints ect with a massive turnout 3 times a week! Anyone have any plans to open anything up?

      Hi Colin,

      Great resource!

      I was trying to put together something similar and done what I can from the CrossFit website (Wish I knew about this sooner). I think I am missing some though, if you wanted an ‘updated’ version (Don’t know how useful it would be) more than happy to share what I have and would welcome any help with filling in any gaps.
